Holmdel, NJ 11/19/25 -- This October, local real estate brokerage EXIT Realty East Coast hosted its 8th Annual Donation Drive for local non-profit organization Lunch Break. Lunch Break, located in Red Bank, NJ, is dedicated to helping families in need in Monmouth County, NJ  and beyond. With donations from the company, their clients, friends, and members of the local community, EXIT was able to collect almost 1,000 pounds of food and hygiene items.

Collection Runs November 3 – December 20, 2025

Nashville, Tenn. (Grassroots Newswire) November 5, 2025 – EXIT Real Estate Experts is proud to announce a partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank to host a community-wide food drive in response to recent SNAP benefit reductions that took effect November 1. The drive will run from November 3 through December 20, 2025, with collection boxes available at all three EXIT Real Estate Experts offices and multiple local business partner locations.

“As food insecurity continues to grow due to changes in assistance programs, we felt a deep responsibility to take action,” said Elizabeth Lawson, Broker/Owner of EXIT Real Estate Experts East. “Partnering with Second Harvest allows us to make a direct impact in our local community, ensuring that families have the support they need this holiday season.”

Community members are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items such as canned vegetables, soups, rice, beans, peanut butter, pasta, and other shelf-stable goods. Donations can be dropped off during regular business hours at any participating location.

The appraisal profession faces an aging workforce and limited new entrants:

  • As of December 2022, the U.S. had about 70,000 licensed or certified real estate appraisers holding 93,665 active licenses.

  • By 2025, registry data shows a net decline to approximately 66,715 active appraisers holding 91,290 licenses.

  • 66% of appraisers are age 50 or older, and just 8.8% have fewer than five years’ experience.

  • Women remain underrepresented, comprising only 26.9% of the profession.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects roughly 6,300 openings per year for property appraisers and assessors from 2024–2034, many due to retirements.

Having held the #1 highest single grossing office title for six years now, this is the stuff of dreams for Cormier, who still recalls the day when EXIT Founder & Chairman, Steve Morris encouraged her to expand, and the feeling of being lonely in her now bustling 2,500 sq ft office that serves the Moncton, Riverview, Salisbury, Shediac, and surrounding areas.
