Artist Tom Foty exhibit at EXIT Realty Metro Gallery

Open house slated for July 31st 5:30-7:30

Minneapolis, Minnesota (Grassroots Newswire) July 19, 2013 -- Local artist Tom Foty is the 20^th Artist to exhibit at the EXIT Realty Metro Art Gallery located next to the Walker Art Gallery at One Groveland Terrace, Suite 203 in Minneapolis.  Foty’s art is open to the public during normal office hours.

Born in Minneapolis, Foty was raised and currently resides in Minnetonka.  “I love to try to capture in all its beauty on canvas in 2 dimension what God has already created in 3 dimension,” stated Foty.  His abilities as an artist have been evident from early on in his life. He began selling his work at the age of fourteen and has continued on to pursue his dream of art as a fulfilling and rewarding career.  He attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA and returned to Minneapolis where he has successfully established himself as a prolific painter.

Foty’s passion for color, lighting and composition is apparent in his work. His art consists of fine artworks in figures, portraits, and landscapes.  Many of his works have appeared in local, national and international markets. His paintings have also been featured in both the editorial and corporate markets, as well as the publishing industry. He has worked with many prominent clients, including the New York Times, Disney, Harcourt Publishing, and numerous others.
