Minneapolis - Lakeville - Zimmerman, Minnesota (Grassroots Newswire) 2/11/2020 -- In gratitude for the support shown to EXIT Realty Metro by the local community, the real estate brokerage recently partnered with "Knock Knock Give a Sock"  to collect socks for the homeless. EXIT Realty Metro real estate agents collected 358 pairs of new men's, women's and children's socks which were donated to Mary's Place at Sharing and Caring Hands, LLC. In addition to the socks, EXIT Realty Metro matched the sock count with an additional $726 dollars which was part of EXIT Corp. Internationals  "Spirit of Giving" program.

Minneapolis, MN (Grassroots Newswire) December 10, 2015 -- EXIT Realty Metro is hosting the 34^th Community Artist Exhibit at the Metro Gallery on December 17^th from 5-8 pm.  Photographs by Tom Reynen, a professional, digital photographer will be featured.  Reynen specializes in landscapes, architectural details, travel scenes and nature photos, particularly close-ups of flowers.  He loves working with bright colors, and enjoys especially creating photos in black and white.  The title of this photographic display is, “Paris in Black and White”.

Michele Lanci Exhibits at EXIT Realty Metro Gallery

Minneapolis, MN (Grassroots Newswire) February 5, 2014 -- Photographer, Artist and Author, Michele Lanci is the next artist at the EXIT Realty Metro’s Emerging Artist Gallery.  She is displaying her photography through the first part of March from 9-5 weekdays.  An open house for the public is Thursday, February 13th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the EXIT Office, One Groveland Terrace, Suite 203 in Minneapolis.

Originally from New York, Michele moved to Minnesota 7 years ago after spending 17 years in Los Angeles. She is Creative Director at Imagik Design Studio where she provides graphic design interactive and photographic services to artists throughout the community.

Michele will be featuring architectural photography from around the world as well as original Polaroid image transfers from her book, “Good-Bye My Friend: Pet Cemeteries, Memorials and Other Ways to Remember”.   She will have copies available at the Gallery and will be signing at the February 13^th opening.

Local EXIT Realty Metro hosts Heather Allen exhibit opening November 20th

Minneapolis, Minnesota (Grassroots Newswire) November 14, 2013 -- Local Panoramic Architect Artist, Heather Allen is being featured at the EXIT Realty Metro Gallery. Allen’s exhibition marks the twenty-second edition of the Emerging Artist Series, and opens on Wednesday, November 20th. The opening features Allen’s art and an opportunity to meet the artist.  The event includes a free public reception starting 5:30 p.m.

Now based in St Cloud, Allen was raised in Southern Minnesota, by farm fields, Norwegians, television and public school. She gained interest in the arts at a very young age and with the inspiration of her Mother’s drawings of horses. Today she creates visual art to better understand and relate to what is important to her. Heather has a degree in Studio Art from the University of Minnesota, Duluth and has worked for 10 years as a teaching artist and arts administrator. The paintings in this series are examinations of real spaces. The fractured and stretched images attempt to capture the whole of a bedroom, building, or block in a single image. For Allen this work is “about remembering spaces, and experiences within and without them”.

Keller is a self-trained artist who first began dabbling in art as a curator for local art shows. Working largely in the metro area, her pieces have been featured at the Hennes Art Gallery, other metro galleries as well as on the cover of Lavender Magazine.
