 The Jones Team of EXIT Landmark Realty Receives Wings Of Love Ambassador Award

White Plains, Maryland (Grassroots Newswire) April 3, 2019 -- The Jones Team of EXIT Landmark Realty was recently awarded the Wings of Love Ambassador Award by EXIT Landmark Realty at their 2018 Annual Awards.

The Wings of Love Ambassador Award was established in 2016 to identify those individuals/teams that go above and beyond to give back to the local community through community service activities.

Anna Jones founded The Jones Team which consists of Amber Cox, Summer Jongo, Chrissy Lindgren, Kyana Mosely, Emily Watts, Gunilla Watts and Tina White who are all REALTORS® with EXIT Landmark Realty in White Plains.

The team worked to raise awareness and to support research for the cure of breast cancer and pancreatic cancer. In honor of Anna Jones’ mother; Summer and Amber’s grandmother, the team raised money to fight breast cancer. In honor of Emily Watts’ father and Gunilla Watts’ husband, the team raised awareness with a series of videos as well as funds for the fight against pancreatic cancer.

Additionally, The Jones Team also worked on other programs supporting the Southern Maryland community.  Focusing on those less fortunate, the team worked with the Charles County Department of Social Services to provide comfort cases filled with key items for children going into the foster care system. In addition, they lead a backpack and school supply drive for local children in need at the start of the school year. Not stopping there, they sponsored a book drive to support children in local shelters and organized a food drive for local families.

It’s no accident The Jones Team is dedicated to community service.  About 20 years ago, Anna Jones founded Coats of Love in response to the need of coats to warm the bodies, hearts and souls of our local community. Under the leadership of Anna and The Jones Team, the initiative has continued to thrive. Every Fall, before the temperature begins to drop, collection sites can be found all around Southern Maryland at local businesses. Furthermore, during the holiday season, The Jones Team makes the extra effort to donate to and volunteer with Christmas Connection and ensure less fortunate families have a special holiday by providing meals and gifts at Christmas by sponsoring local families.

The Jones Team’s love and support doesn’t stop with people, they are just as caring to our four-legged friends. Chrissy Lindgren, one of the newest members of the team, added a new initiative this year to support Last Chance Animal Rescue.

White Plains, MD (Grassroots Newswire) 08/16/2018 -- Anna Jones and The Jones Team have coordinated a Comfort Cases Donation Drive inspiring our community to help bring dignity and hope to youth in foster care. In addition, the Jones Team spearheaded a backpack drive with supplies that assisted almost 70 school children in the local area.

Because of their efforts the Department of Social Services awarded Anna Jones and the Jones Team a Certificate of Appreciation on August 10, 2018. The Team is still collecting donations at the EXIT Landmark Realty office in White Plains.

Jones Team Kicks off Coats of Love Coat Drive for 2017 in Southern Maryland

White Plains, MD (Grassroots Newswire) 10/10/2017 -- Anna Jones, REALTOR with EXIT Landmark Realty, was inspired over a decade ago to create Coats of Love. In an effort to provide warmth to children and adults in need, Anna planned and orchestrated an annual coat drive that continues today. Over the years, Anna's real estate business has blossomed into the Jones Team and the members of the team have expanded the Coats of Love operation. This year several local businesses in Charles County have come aboard to serve as drop-off locations and assist in the effort to provide as many coats as needed to our local community.
