EXIT Realty Inter Lake Named Broker of the Year for Canada

Owners Mark Seamone and Kristopher Snarby Honoured by EXIT Realty Corp. International

 

Bridgewater, NS – Mark Seamone and Kristopher Snarby, Owners of EXIT Realty Inter Lake with locations in Liverpool and Bridgewater, were named Canadian Brokers of the Year during EXIT Realty Corp. International’s Convention held recently at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort near Jacksonville, Florida.

 

The brokerage is the oldest in the EXIT system, having served the Bridgewater area for twenty-five years.  Seamone joined the ownership team in 2002 and Snarby in 2019 when the original owner, Jon Walker, retired.  The pair leads the brokerage which enjoys #1 market share in many of the communities they serve. 

 

Seamone and Snarby were also recognized for individual sales achievement at the event. Seamone was honoured with the Gold Award for closing between 75 and 99 real estate transaction sides for the period July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. Snarby achieved the Million Dollar Circle for closing more than a million dollars in gross commissions and the Titanium Elite Award for closing between 200 and 299 real estate transaction sides for the same period. In addition, he was inducted into the company’s prestigious Emerald Circle for closing 750 real estate transaction sides during his career with EXIT.

Local Real Estate Broker Earns Top International Honours

Bridgewater, NS – Mark Seamone, Owner and Associate Broker with EXIT Realty Inter Lake (Bridgewater and Liverpool), was recognized for outstanding achievement at the EXIT Realty Corp. EXIT Realty Inter Lake Honoured at Canada’s Volunteer Awards

Bridgewater, NS – EXIT Realty Inter Lake received the Business Leader Award for Atlantic Canada in a ceremony held in Ottawa on June 9th.  The award was presented by the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development and recognizes “businesses that demonstrate social responsibility and support the well-being of their communities.”  Also on hand were Gary Simonsen, CEO of the Canadian Real Estate Association and Joyce Paron, President of the Canadian Division of EXIT Realty Corp. International. 

The company was nominated by the Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia South Shore Chapter.  Inspired by EXIT Realty Corp. International’s involvement with Habitat for Humanity International, EXIT Realty Inter Lake started in 2001 by selling hot dogs on the streets of Liverpool to raise funds.  Their efforts have blossomed to include an annual golf tournament and all told, to-date the South Shore chapter has benefited from the brokerage’s efforts to the tune of $240,000.  One of their four gala dinners in 2016 featured acclaimed Canadian broadcaster and news anchor, Peter Mansbridge. The nomination process took more than a year to complete and EXIT Realty Inter Lake won from more than 375 other nominees, many of which were much larger organizations.

Along with the national recognition, the honour included a $5,000 grant which will be directed to the Habitat for Humanity South Shore Chapter.

EXIT Realty Inter Lake was one of the first EXIT brokerages in the system, opening for business in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia in November of 1997.  They opened their second location in Liverpool in 2001.

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization working towards a Nova Scotia where everyone has a safe and decent place to live, and has built 45 homes throughout the province since its inception.

$42,000 Raised at recent Gala Dinnner & Auction hosted by EXIT Realty Inter Lake

Bridgewater, Nova Scotia (Grassroots Newswire) May 2, 2013 -- The inaugural Habitat for Humanity Gala Dinner and Auction held at the Best Western Plus Hotel and Convention Centre in Bridgewater, NS was sold out weeks prior to the event.  Dignitaries including the Honorable Stephen McNeil, Leader of the Opposition of Nova Scotia, Mayor of Bridgewater, David Walker, Mayor of the Municipality of Lunenburg, Don Downe and Mayor of Mahone Bay, Joe Feeney joined MLAs, councilors and business community leaders to support the fundraiser.  The elegant room appointments commensurate with that of a black tie big city event, created a sizzling first impression that was the backdrop for a night of entertainment and surprises.  Guests were welcomed by a delightful musical interlude of harp and mandolin by Dave and Heather Abriel which was followed by a show-stopping Marilyn Monroe impersonator who kicked off the evening.  The keynote speaker and live auctioneer was none other than the incomparable, beloved Maritimer, Bill Carr who performed at his best.
