Concord, New Hampshire (Grassroots Newswire) September 22, 2021 - Exit Realty Great Beginning’s Kathy Ahlin was recently awarded NHAR's 62nd REALTOR of the Year by the NEW HAMPSHIRE ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.  

Kathy Ahlin, the broker-owner of Exit Realty Great Beginnings in Concord and member of the Seacoast Board of Realtors, has been selected as NHAR's 62nd REALTOR of the Year.

A 14-year Realtor, Ahlin received the honor at NHAR's annual Realtor of the Year ceremony, held Sept. 16 at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord. 

"Kathy has worked hard and this outstanding award is well-deserved recognition of that effort," said Michael Wohl, EXIT Realty New England Regional Owner.   

Ahlin currently serves as the Women’s Council of Realtors Granite State president, and her service to NHAR has run deep over the last decade. She has been on the legal committee since 2011, was a graduate of the Leadership Academy in 2017, is a member and past chair of the communications committee, and a member of the finance committee. Ahlin was part of NHAR’s CEO search committee in 2020, the leadership development working group in 2018 and 2019, and the Disaster Relief Assistance Foundation in 2016.

Ahlin is a past president of both the Capital Region Board of Realtors and the Seacoast Board of Realtors, and she has been Realtor of the Year for each as well. She is also a 10-year member of the National Honor Society.

Local Realtor Completes NHAR Leadership Academy

Kathy Ahlin, Realtor, Owner Broker of EXIT Realty Great Beginnings in Concord and EXIT Portside Realty in Portsmouth, recently graduated from the New Hampshire Association of Realtors Second Leadership Academy, an intensive one-year program designed to enhance the skills of members considering volunteer leadership positions within the association.

Ahlin was one of four Academy graduates, whose commencement was celebrated November 16 in Portsmouth NH, during the Installation ceremony of incoming NHAR President Gerry O’Connell.
Fittingly, O’Connell was among the nine members of the inaugural Leadership Academy, which had graduated a year earlier.

“I can speak first-hand to what a life-altering experience the Academy is, both professionally and personally,” O’Connell said. “These graduates’ lives have been substantially changed for the better, both in terms of confidence and competence.
