Aggressive Growth Planned for EXIT Mid-Atlantic Under New Ownership

Silver Spring, MD – Tami Bonnell, CEO of EXIT Realty Corp. International, today announced that real estate industry leaders and EXIT Realty Franchisees, Jonathan Rundlett and his wife and partner, Janett Rundlett, are the new owners of EXIT Mid-Atlantic, comprising Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. 

The Region was established in 2002 by Rick and Carol McDaniel who grew it to more than 40 offices, home to more than 1,200 real estate professionals.  They made the decision in 2019 to retire from Regional ownership.  Jonathan Rundlett joined EXIT Realty in 2016 as the owner of EXIT Deluxe Realty with offices in Chevy Chase and Gaithersburg, Maryland, growing that operation to almost 100 agents to-date.  

Jonathan Rundlett, who will serve as President of the Region, has been in the real estate industry since 2005 with over ten years of experience in the mortgage industry.  He has been a licensed REALTOR® since 2009 serving in organized real estate including his current appointments as a member of the Leadership Committee for Maryland REALTORS® and Vice-Chair of the Ethics Committee for the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS® (GCAAR). He holds a real estate broker's license in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Janett Rundlett, who will serve as Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Region, has over ten years of experience in sales and marketing with The Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and she is an entrepreneur running several of her own successful enterprises. Her passion to help others along with her sales and marketing background fueled her excitement to purchase EXIT Mid-Atlantic with her husband to help the strong leaders already present in the Region continue to grow, as well as to implement a marketing plan to expand the Region’s office and agent count.
