Gulf Shores Native Named Ironman by EXIT Realty Gulf Shores

Gulf Shores, AL (Grassroots Newswire) 3/2/2020 - Gulf Shores native Joe Emerson was recently awarded the 2019 Ironman Award by EXIT Realty Gulf Shores.

Tom Stanton, franchise Broker/Owner, said the award is similar to one presented at the annual EXIT Realty Corp International convention. He said he set the award in motion this year on the local level to recognize the associate who embraced EXIT Realty Gulf Shores to the fullest.

“I am floored by this award,” said Emerson. “With the support of my parents, Sonny and Kathryn Emerson, and the guidance of Tom, Toni, and Tommy Stanton at EXIT Realty Gulf Shores, I was able to truly learn not only this business but also how to succeed.”

Emerson joined EXIT Realty Gulf Shores after an extensive career in the commercial maritime industry. He is a graduate Coastal Alabama Community College and the Sea School Alabama where he acquired an EMT Paramedic license, Unlimited Rating for Deck operations and a Master of Passenger Vessels endorsement.

Emerson is active in Fort Morgan where he served the community as a an EMT/Firefighter.  He currently serves as President of the Fort Morgan Civic Association and Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Fort Morgan Fire Department.

He also founded the Fort Morgan Clean Up campaign and is a member of Keep Fort Morgan Beautiful.   Additionally, he is a volunteer with the Orange Ceach Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.

Emerson is a member of the Baldwin County Association of REALTORS, Alabama Association of REALTORS, the National Association of REALTORS and the Baldwin County Multiple Listing Service.
