Local Real Estate Broker Wins Top Honors for West USA

Shawn Sorensen Honored by EXIT Realty Corp. International

– Shawn Sorensen, Broker/Owner of EXIT Alliance Realty with offices in Temecula and Murietta, was named West USA Broker of the Year during EXIT Realty Corp. International’s Convention held recently at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort near Jacksonville, Florida.
 
Sorenson joined EXIT Realty in 2004 as a sales representative moving into brokerage ownership in 2012 and earning Broker of the Year for the Southwest US Division of the company in 2017.  The brokerage is known locally for its annual Random Acts of Kindness (RAKA) community event, and Sorensen volunteers her time with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Empire and Sale Ranch Animal Sanctuary, earning her the honor of EXIT’s 2021 Humanitarian Award.

Shawn Sorensen Receives International Humanitarian Award

Murrieta area professional honored by EXIT Realty Corp. International

 

Murrieta, CA – Shawn Sorensen, Broker/Owner of EXIT Alliance Realty with two locations in Murrieta, was honored with the Humanitarian Award by EXIT Realty Corp. International during the company’s annual awards event broadcast recently throughout the US and Canada.
 
Mrs. Sorensen has been with EXIT since 2004 and is committed to improving the lives of people living in the communities she serves. In November of 2013, she wanted to create a memorable experience to share with the agents at her brokerage in lieu of a traditional holiday party. From this simple wish, her Random Acts of Kindness Alliance (RAKA) was born.
 
More than 100 people attended that first event where Mrs. Sorensen and her team held a scavenger hunt, going door-to-door collecting items for a homeless shelter and a domestic violence prevention organization. They also shopped at local stores purchasing items for families in need. After everything was collected the group jammed into the patio of a local restaurant and shared their stories. Every person left the event inspired to continue paying it forward and helping their neighbors.
 
Over the years, RAKA has grown to an annual community extravaganza.  Even during the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, they distributed warm blankets, coats, and bags full of gifts and goodies to 200 deserving children at a drive-up event. 
 
“I plan to carry on this RAKA event for as long as I have breath in my lungs!” she says.  “I love the lives it touches, and I am so moved by the generosity of the people who show up to volunteer.  Many children who come to volunteer for the RAKA day end up sharing their stories with their teachers, and one school even held their own Random Acts of Kindness Day!”

Temecula, CA – Local real estate professionals gathered recently at the office of EXIT Alliance Realty in Temecula for an exclusive event featuring the President of the U.S. Division of EXIT Realty Corp. International, Craig Witt.  In a fireside chat-type meeting, Witt offered insights on the national real estate market and strategies to better serve the home buying and selling public. Top agents were also honored for their regional 2019 accomplishments. 

EXIT Alliance Realty in Temecula was recognized as the Top Office in Gross Closed Commission for the Inland California Region of EXIT Realty.   Robin McCann was recognized as the #1 agent in Gross Commission Income and Closed Transaction Sides.  Sonya Sanders was recognized as the #2 agent in Closed Transaction Sides.  Charles Okada was recognized as the #3 agent in Gross Commission Income and Closed Transaction Sides.

EXIT Alliance Realty to Raise Funds to Benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Empire, Corporate Will Match


Temecula, CA – EXIT Realty Corp. International today announced that it has committed to match funds raised by EXIT Alliance Realty benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Empire, an organization committed to youth mentoring. 

EXIT Alliance Realty with locations in Temecula and Murrieta, is part of the EXIT Realty Corp. International family of independently owned and operated franchise brokerages. A portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund.  Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds.  The real estate professionals at EXIT Alliance Realty will be participating in Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Empire’s fundraising initiative, Bowl for Kids’ Sake and will be soliciting donations from the public.  EXIT Realty Corp. Temecula EXIT Realty Office Gives Back to the Community

Temecula, California (Grassroots Newswire) December 17, 2014 -- In gratitude for the support shown to EXIT Alliance Realty by the local community, the real estate brokerage recently gathered items for those in need.

The second annual Random Acts of Kindness Alliance took place Saturday, December 13th. This year the EXIT Alliance Realty team and their affiliates/families took to the streets of the Temecula area to find individuals willing to donate clothes, toiletries, cleaning supplies, shoes, unworn socks, blankets and anything else people in need would want. After the team of over 100 finished their rounds going door to door asking for donations, they made their way to stores: where they used donated money/gift cards to purchase toys, clothes, and other necessities.

In terms of volume, our team managed to gather more items than last year. We had five trucks and three vans filled with donations. During the event volunteers would try their best to do small acts of kindness, some would pay for another’s groceries, let them cut them in line, or even just hold the door open for them. When the volunteers did this, they’d pass the individual who received the kindness a business card. The card stated that this was a charity event, and it asked them to pay it forward, and to do an act of kindness to someone else.

All of the collected items went to two charities: Project Touch and Rancho Damacitas. Project Touch gives back to the community by helping the homeless. They offer shelter, food and above all else a place to sleep at night. Most of our items that were collected going door to door went to Project Touch. Rancho Damacitas is a non-profit organization dedicated to children without families to turn to. Majority of our purchased necessities went to the kids at Rancho Damacitas.The organization provides housing and a family environment for the kids to grow up in. However, Rancho Damacitas has realized that there are issues in terms of after the children turn 18. Once they become adults, most foster children end up poverty stricken and on the streets. Because of this, Rancho Damacitas has begun a program called Project Independence. Project Independence is a need-based program where individuals can receive housing, scholarships, or just personal life-coaching.

Often in today’s society, the world can get the best of you. A feeling of hopelessness occurs as the rug is pulled out from under you. Groups like Project Touch, Rancho Damacitas and Random Acts of Kindness Alliance do their best to not only put the rug back under your feet, but also to point you in the right direction.
