EXIT Realty Eastern Ontario Named EXIT’s Region of the Year

Mississauga, ON – EXIT Realty Eastern Ontario was named International Region of the Year by EXIT Realty Corp. International.  AJ Plant, Regional Owner, was presented with the award at the company’s Convention held recently at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort, near Jacksonville, Florida. 

 

Plant was recognized for outstanding growth and development in an area with a population of less than seven million.  He also achieved the ranking of #3 in franchise sales across North America.

 

Plant joined EXIT in 2004 as a sales representative with EXIT Realty Matrix in the greater Ottawa area, assuming a management role with the brokerage in 2008.  He acquired the subfranchisor rights to Eastern Ontario in 2015, responsible for expanding EXIT’s footprint across the region. Plans for 2023 include expansion into Ajax, Pickering, Oshawa and Whitby, Ontario as well as increasing market share in the Ottawa area with two new territories in the west end.

EXIT Realty Organizes Little League Baseball Clinic

Clinic Aims to Teach Youth Baseball Fundamentals, Raise Funds for Food Bank

Ottawa, ONTARIO (Grassroots Newswire) April 27, 2022 -- Hooray! It’s Baseball season once again!

AJ Plant, Regional Owner of EXIT Realty Eastern Ontario, is once again facilitating a FREE Little League baseball clinic at Ottawa’s AAA Stadium on Saturday, May 14th for area Little League Associations. The annual clinic for approximately 160 players will be conducted within two sessions: 10-12:30pm and 1:30-4pm. The clinic is available for registered Little League players aged 9-13 yrs. Players must pre-register and receive confirmation. Players should wear baseball pants and bring their own glove, baseball cap, batting helmet, and water.   

Instructors will include a former MLB scouts and pro players, collegiate graduates and local LL coaches to help teach the youngsters the basic mechanics for hitting, throwing, fielding and pitching. All good fun for kids to have a positive and more successful experience with baseball this year. Local EXIT Realty agents will be volunteering to BBQ hotdogs and assist with logistics.  

Free hot dogs/drinks will be provided for all players courtesy of Beacon Hill – Cyrville Councilor Tim Tierney. The concourse will have the pitch speed radar set up to register velocity. The event will also collect cash donations for the Gloucester Emergency Food Cupboard with funds matched by EXIT Realty Corp. International.

Registration will begin on May 1^st. Parents should check with their Little League Association’s website for more details.

Ottawa, ON – Real estate professionals with EXIT Realty Eastern Ontario joined community volunteers on site recently at Phase III of Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa’s Jeanne d'Arc development in Orleans.  The Leacross Landing development will include 16 townhouses when completed.

1st Annual Canadian Snowball Throwing Championships

But don’t forget our lake-effect blizzards, Alberta clippers, and world-famous wind chill! Just when you think you seen the wackiest of competitions – like the hot dog eating king Joey Chestnut or chainsaw wars, along comes a competition that oddly enough, doesn’t seem to exist on the globe! Announcing SNOlympiad 1, a totally unique competition to measure the athletic skill of Snowball Throwing. Not many Olympic sports require the combination of precision, speed and strength.

Now there is such a sport competition. Canada should be the favourite! 

SNOlympiad 1 will be the first annual World Snowball Throwing Championship held in Ottawa in 2020 to crown the World Champions (male and female) who scored the highest points in three snowball throwing skills; 1) Distance; 2) Velocity; and 3) Accuracy. Participants throw three snowballs at each stage.

With the need to find Canada’s top male and top female representatives, the Canadian Snowball Throwing Championship will be held in Brockville on September 1st, 2019, to crown the champs. They will have the winter to prepare for the World Championships.
